Tips for an inviting table:
Make sure there is enough space for each guest. This may seem obvious, but test out different seats and make sure that there is ample room between plates, cups, and cutlery.
Prepare interesting centerpieces. All you really need to make a table look fresh is a bouquet of flowers. To make the table interesting from one end to the other, consider placing multiple vases with different variations of the same flowers in each.
Don't clutter the table. Keep it simple! Try not to worry too much about perfection and avoid placing too many plates on the table. It can get pretty hectic when guests have a salad plate, dinner plate, dessert plate, and charger. Or consider bringing plates out at different times throughout the evening.
